Spoke to Paul again about the ARP revision.
He understood the concept of the revision better after I explained it to him. I tried to articulate that this was not really my passion what I was proposing, nevertheless it was a fit for an ARP.
The revision will be that I will study the upcoming ROV teacher training process (Jan 10-11) and MATE ROV competition proposed in Jun of this year. I will work closely with my students to involve them in this CoP as well as local teachers and MATE.
I explained my passion really was diving and underwater imaging- creating for others to enjoy. He suggested that I use a form of this in the final report. I may also use it in data collection.
Here are the key ideas to tie into the ARP:
Use constructivist theory to answer the question of how I make this better. This needs to come up with something that creates "added value".
This will be an emergent process..
Ideas: possibly create an online community for local students to interact with my students and peers.

Report:
What happened?
What Did I change? This is the big activity- how can I change something in this process for the better?
What was sucessful before?
What are the results from before?
I think the answer lies in connecting the participants to the larger CoP in industry. I highly doubt the sponsors are actively involved other than paying some money and getting their logo on sponsorship. I may be wrong.
